Hi, I'm Emre Karataş. This website chronicles my travels and artwork. 

My interests are street photography and watercolour. I am self-taught in photography. For film photography, I use a Minolta XD-11 camera. For years, I was a member of the Hart House Camera Club, where I learned to process my film and make prints. 

I studied Sumi-e (Japanese watercolour) under the tutelage of Hiroshi Yamamoto of JCCC. My Japanese name Hi-Gan, and I am a member of the Sumi-e Artists of Canada.
